This year, Stone's Lego League Sponsor (Mrs. Coleman) was one of only 2 coaches in the state of Florida awarded with a Gold Level Presidential Service Award in recognition of her dedication to FIRST LEGO League of Florida. She will be receiving a certificate, special pin, and a letter from President Barack Obama.

- Ms. Regan was awarded a $3200 Myra Langford Grant for mechanical arms to attach laptops to lab tables, tripods for cameras and (4) graphic pads for the Smart Board.
- Mr. Maurice was awarded a $900 Myra Langford Grant for choir microphones and a sound system for his Drama Class stage.
- Mr. Flesher & Ms. Peebles were funded for a $5000 Dollar General Back to School Literacy Grant for new computers for a new Read180 reading program at Stone.
- Mr. Serna was nominated by his students and was recognized as Walmart Teacher of the Year!
- Mr. Shupe received a Educational Technology Grant of $850 for a new camcorder for the Video Productions Class.
- Mr. Regan received a Educational Technology Grant of $495 for a statistics software site license for the Science Research Students.
- Mrs. Crabb received a Educational Technology Grant of $1000 for new Spanish Speaking Software.
- Ms. Targee & Ms. Williams received $2,329.00 from Airborne for their Art Students decorate our campus with several mural projects.
